Can We Forget - ALEXSUCKS

ALEXSUCKS: A refined sound that defines his initial raw energy on 'Can We Forget'

It's always exciting to discover new music from an artist who is on the cusp of something big. That's exactly how it feels when you listen to ALEXSUCKS, the 23-year-old alt-rock artist hailing from Denver, Colorado.

Growing up on the skate parks of Denver, ALEXSUCKS has always had an edge that sets him apart from the crowd. He started creating music in his bedroom, with a sound that reflects the punk and alternative scenes that he's been immersed in his entire life. And now, he's taking that sound to the next level.

Late in 2021, ALEXSUCKS released a single called "Talk To You", which garnered over a million streams and opened up doors for him to take his music on tour, opening for Kennyhoopla and performing in bars and clubs. It wasn't long before he was spotted by someone who could take his music further.

By 2022, ALEXSUCKS was working with a producer who has worked with the likes of Pearl Jam, AC/DC, and Rage Against The Machine. You can hear the difference in the music - the tracks are more polished and pulsing with even more energy than before, separating the gravel of his voice from the growl of the guitars. The sound is reminiscent of the early days of The Strokes.

ALEXSUCKS has since moved to LA and has begun the release of his debut album, starting with his latest single "Can We Forget". The song showcases his self-confidence and a sound that makes you reminiscent of the early punk scenes, with a crowd moshing and the speakers distorting. It's clear that ALEXSUCKS is an artist who knows his life is about to change.

It's exciting to see a new artist like ALEXSUCKS making waves in the alt-rock scene. His music is raw, powerful, and nostalgic, yet has a fresh and modern twist that makes it stand out from the crowd. With the upcoming release of his debut album, it's clear that ALEXSUCKS is on the brink of something big.
