Oceans of Emotion - The Teskey Brothers

The Teskey Brothers keep vintage soul sounding fresh on ‘Oceans of Emotions’

The Teskey Brothers are a band that has been honing their sound for over a decade. They have played in pubs, at parties, written music for films, and done any sort of gig they could to build up their sound. This is why when they finally found their unique sound, it was based off of passion and hard work, creating an emotional edge to their music that is hard to put a finger on.

Their soulful sound of the sixties never feels tired because they continue to captivate with new music. Their success began in 2017 with their debut album "Half Mile Harvest," which topped the Australian indie charts without a label. Since then, they have released their sophomore album "Run Home Slow" to critical and commercial success in 2019.

The Teskey Brothers know how to walk their line deliberately at their own pace, and on February 14th, they announced their third album, set to release in June of this year. The band has so far released two tracks, and the latest one is them at their best. They lean into vintage soul and blues, but never overdo it, instead letting the track breathe within a smoky haze that still feels like it's recorded at their local pub.

In today's world, it's rare to hear modern artists making music like the soul legends of the past. But The Teskey Brothers have made it to their third album, and the music sounds as good as ever. Their latest track "Oceans of Emotion" is a true masterpiece, building up so much by the end, and the band's passion for their craft is evident in every note.

It's great to see a band like The Teskey Brothers continuing to captivate audiences with their unique sound. Their third album is highly anticipated, and the band's dedication to their craft will undoubtedly shine through once again. With "Oceans of Emotion" as a taster of what's to come, I’m eagerly awaiting the release of their next album in June.
